What happened to the archive of updates for the years 2000-2018?
After the downtime the site has been revamped completely. It does not make much sense to me to add updates with broken links and images just for the sake of archiving them. I don’t have the time to relink everything new, so it would just be a mess of copy and paste with broken links and images. And frankly, I don’t think that anybody is interested in my blabla from 18 years ago. 🙂
To be honest, after the end of Season 9 of The X-Files, I did not update this site anymore often. Just minor changes here and there. Last big update came when the second movie “The X-Files: I want to Believe” came out – 2008. I did not update infos about Season 10 and 11 in 2016 and 2018, when they released. I did not feel like it and did not have much time back then. So, between 2008 and 2016 “nothing important happened” here.
Summary of previous updates: The site underwent more than 100 updates before 2008. I was updating frequently and redesigned the site multiple times. I added images, took screencaps of the episodes and added images of my magazine collection and such things. This site has never been a news site, it has always been an archive with episodes summaries, character dossiers, images, video and music files (before it became so critical to upload things like these) and all kinds of info.
